Blogging brings like-minded people together. Starting a blog can help you find those people and share your opinions and thoughts.

Make a Difference:

Many blogs are issue-based meaning the blogger is trying to provide information to sway people's thinking in a certain direction.social issues blogs are written by bloggers who are trying to make a difference in their own ways.

Since successful blogging is partially dependent on posting frequency and providing updated, fresh information, it's a perfect way to help a blogger stay abreast of the events in a specific field or topic.

1.  Article Directories

Article marketing is the one most important marketing in the seo.  I spent a lot of writing articles and submitting them to the top directories around.  I have been learned two things from this.  Article marketing is a great ways of traffic from the directory viewers, and article marketing create  good backlinks towards your site.  My favorite directories are EZA, GoArticles, Buzzle, iSnare, and HubPages.

2.  Video Directories

YouTube has become a great search engine itself.  People use YouTube to find lots of information just as they would search through Google.  If you start video marketing, you will quickly learn that this is another great ways of both traffic and backlinks.  A viral video could  great cause backlinks to be created for you in thousands of places around the web. A video channel plays also important roles.

3.  PDF Directories

A PDF Directories is the another great source of backlink , but it is another great one.  If you are partaking in article marketing already, there is no reason you can’t submit the content to PDF directories.  These platforms include places like Scribd, Docstoc etc.  Once again, this is both a traffic source and a backlink source.

4.  Forums

Forums have a great Source of generating high Page Rank .  Getting more backlinks from these sources can do wonders for your SEO.  This is especially true if you are going after low competition keywords. You can easily add links back to your site from the forum signatures and the forum profile page. 

5.  Blogs

Blog commenting is an easy way to add lots of relevant links back to your site.  Doing a quick search in google for “keyword” + blog will return lots and lots of good backlinks.  Interacting with bloggers in a related market.

6.  RSS Feeds

They will add those low power links to your site on a consistent basis though.  Every time you submit a blog post, your RSS feed will send out those backlinks.  The consistent backlinks from these sources allow your site to appear more natural as well.

7.  Social Bookmarks

 Social Bookmarks is the another great source of  backlnks. They don’t pull much weight, but they help generate lots of backlinks.  You can easily send your newly published post to 50 social bookmarking sites like Digg, Delicious, Reddit, etc with the free tool Onlywire or Social Marker.

8.  Web 2.0 Sites

These are sites like Squidoo, WetPaint, and Blogger.  They allow you to create blogs in any subject you wish.  The key to building power Web 2.0 back links is by publishing compliment content towards your main website. Web 2.0 sites are a great source of traffic.

9.  Website Directories

There are lots of website directories available.  The big dog would have to be the DMOZ.  Getting your site in this directory will pull a lot of weight for your site getting high rankings. This process is only a onetime thing.  There is no reason you shouldn’t be submitting your url to all of these directories for quick backlinks. These types of backlink count as a quality backlinks.

10.  Press Releases

Press releases are great ways for backlinks.  You can easily get a quality news article ranked right away in Google News which would lead to thousands of backlinks to your site very quickly.  Submitting 2 press releases per month to at least 10 directories is ideal for building lots and lots of links fast.
